§ Identified at-risk students in grades 1 & 2 will attend a one-hour, after-school Early Success Reading Program on Mondays and Wednesdays. The length of program is six weeks.
§ Identified at-risk students in grades 3-6 will attend a one-hour, after-school Reading Book Club Program and receive SOAR to Success Comprehension Strategy instruction on Thursdays. The length of the program is 6 weeks.
§ A teacher recommendation will be required for students in grades 4-6, participating in an after-school tutoring program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The length of the program is six weeks.
§ During the first 4 days of Intersession, 3-hour classes will be held for students in grades 1-5. Instruction will include Math Problem Solving, Hands-on Geometry, Hands-on Algebra, Hands-on Measurement, and enrichment in the area of Science.
