Title II/ROE Workshop Updates
===================================
The
updated and approved Title II workshop participation list is online and can be
viewed at http://curriculum.risd41.org/admin/Title2/title_2.htm
Please
make sure that the staff in your building that have registered for a workshop
either attend the workshop or call several days in advance to cancel their
registration. Case and point... read the email message below:

Cheryl for the updates. I also would
like to let you know that some of your people that are signing up for these
Title II workshops are not showing up for the workshop. Yesterday we had Kids, Crops and Critters
and we had 4 of RI teachers signed up through Title II as no shows, no calls.
The Super Saturday Math on Oct. 27, we had about the same amount that were
signed up through Title II as no shows, no calls. We do still have to charge for these participants when we don't
receive a call that they are not coming.
If there is anything we can do to help in keeping this from happening
please let me know.

Koalaty Kid Training Update
===================================
We have
created a "Koalaty Kid" web site that shares some basic information
about the process. It can be viewed on
our site at http://curriculum.risd41.org/documents/koalaty/koalaty_kid.htm
and will continue to be developed. I am
pleased to announce that Earl Hanson will be the first school in our district
to send a team through the six days of Koalaty Kid training. We will be meeting on 11-26-01, 11-27-01,
12-6-01 and 12-7-01 from 8:30 - 3:30 pm in room 23 of the administration
center. Two additional days of training
will be scheduled after the holidays for Earl Hanson staff. All are welcome to join us to see what this
process is all about. Please contact me for further information if interested.

Sending Home 2nd Quarter Report Cards

Reminder... Because second quarter ends right before Christmas break (12-21-01), several of you have asked when student report cards will be sent home. Junior Highs and Elementary schools will send home student report cards the week following Christmas break (by 1-11-02). High school student report cards will be sent home the last day before Christmas break (12-21-01) due to athletic eligibility issues.
