Science Curriculum Review Minutes

November 1, 2001

· Teams reviewed edited documents or completed the editing process

· Teams described a vision of an ideal comprehensive science program, informative assessments, and effective instructional materials (See attached)

· Teams identified key criteria to be merged into an evaluation rubric. Board policy and samples from other districts were reviewed. (See attached)

· The next meeting will be on December 12, 2001 at the Hauberg Center. Teams will apply the evaluation rubric to sample materials
