*Meeting Objective: To evaluate science curriculum materials applying the committee created evaluation rubric.

Agenda

Welcome

• Review of agenda and overview of today’s activities
• Order lunch

Review the “science materials selection evaluation rubric”

• Explain process, location of materials and format for evaluation

Review science curriculum materials

• Individuals will evaluate science curriculum materials using the evaluation rubric
• Teams will discuss and record evaluation and comments using the appropriate form
• Teams will combine individual rating forms, discuss and come to consensus on a final evaluation score for each different vendor.

Report out on scoring and evaluation of science materials

• Teams will report out the results of the team consensus master evaluation form
• Scores will be recorded and rank ordered accordingly

As time permits;

• Continue revision process of science standards alignment document

Teams will review the edited curriculum alignment documents and make any additional revisions

• District Curriculum Alignment Cycle

Teams will provide feedback on the District Curriculum Alignment Cycle draft document

• Building A Presence: Point of Contact discussion
